Electrolytic coloring commonly called 2 step color, yields a very durable, colorfast finish. Used extensively in architectual applications, signs, flagpoles, recreational and other outdoor applications.

Not all alloys can be used for this type of coloring. This coloring is not an organic dye and is much less susceptible to fading than organic dyes.

The colors that can be obtained with this process range from champayne-light bronze-medium bronze-dark bronze to black.
